The "Cheyenne" single holster rig is modeled from holsters used commonly in the "Old West". The double loop "Mexican" holster was very popular in the 1800's because of the simplicity of design and functionality. This holster features a modestly exposed trigger guard (NCOWS legal) and a high top that is period correct. The top is still modestly flared to aid reholstering. The holster is also laced through the flap to keep the holster in place on the belt, eliminating the need for leg ties and modern tightening screws on the flap. A nice small shell border is used with addition of nickeled spots on both the holster and belt. The holster also features a hand tooled medallion on the upper area and a hand sewn toe plug. The three inch wide belt is suede lined and skip laced bullet loops are installed and anchored with more spots. Fancy 1 3/4" billets are used here, complimented with a nickeled clipped corner buckle. Shown with a single holster, additional holsters can be ordered--straight or crossdraw (crossdraw will have a single wider loop and a 3/4 flap). Any of our colors can be ordered; black, walnut, chestnut (as pictured), mahogany, saddle tan, or natural. Price as pictured-$430 Additional holsters $175. The basic rig can be ordered decorated or in any appearance you would like. Call us and we can discuss it with you. 812 963 6828
